Three days to go, so much to do and so little time! I love watching this video as this day in the Galapagos will soon be mine several times over. I'm looking forward to taking everything in and making the most of every moment, because like all good things, this experience will fly by. I just realized that the biggest challenge I'll face is splitting by time equally between land and water. I love the ocean and will find it hard to pry myself away for some of the amazing land experiences. Luckily, from looking at the itinerary, there are several times where they 'force' you to be on land. Check out this video below to see a little of the Galapagos below the waves.

Anyway, I'll be posting whenever I can here (should be able to most evenings after other shipmates have crashed, I'm kind of a night owl). I'll also be posting to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, the links are all on this site. Lastly I'll be featuring two segments during the 10 days. The first is 'Baby Watch', my wife is due 8 days after the trip, with any luck there will be no baby whilst I'm in the Galapagos. The second is 'Field Sketches From Someone Who Has No Business Doing Field Sketches.' I'm always on trips and very envious of those who can sit and vividly sketch a scene to cherish forever. I can't do this, but I think it will be entertaining to try.
